Modern hotel near lake and park, 5 min walk to Enge train station. Clean, quiet rooms. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Helpful staff and convenient location for airport access. Good transit options nearby.

We had booked a room with balcony and enjoyed the beautiful view into the quarter. The staff was courteous and uncomplicated at all times. The breakfast was as expected delicious and of very good quality. The location of the hotel near the railway station Enge, the proximity to the lake and the centre are perfect.

There is little to be said for that: My wife was missing a bread toaster.

Not all rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Unfortunately I did not have a room with air conditioning.

I was pretty disappointed. No air conditioning at 4 stars. Upon request, I was offered a room for an extra charge. With temperatures of 38 degrees I would have wished for something more accommodating.

The hotel has been slightly rebuilt, we have been here before, now everything is more modern, excellent breakfast, I find the location very good, you can be on foot in a short time directly on Lake Zurich, the city is also within a few minutes, but also the train connection directly in front of the door is very good

Our stay at the hotel was well worth the money spent. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. The location, just across from Enge Banhof, was perfect for easy access to the airport and convenient shopping. The staff was friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service.

The morning meal could have been improved with a greater variety of hot vegetarian dishes.

I thought the restaurant and entire lobby/sitting area could be spruced up - it was too old English for my liking but maybe that's the style they're going for. The performer in the restaurant was ok, not great.

We recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and were thoroughly impressed with our experience. the location of this place is unbeatable, with the Enge station right on our doorstep. It made getting around incredibly convenient, and we could easily explore the city and its surrounding areas. Additionally, the staff provided exceptional service, always with a smile and willing to help with any inquiries or requests we had. Whether it was room service, dry cleaning, or a 24-hour reception, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction.

We stayed at the Ascot for St Patricks weekend. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by a friendly person who was very helpful. Our room was very nice of good size extreamly clean and very relaxing. It had its own coffee maker which was great. The staff all weekend were of the same manner very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good. Great variety of yogurts,bread,juices,fruit and the scrambled eggs were very tasty. Location was perfect for us. As it was our first time in Zurich.It is of walking distance to the beautiful lake, and to the shopping areas. The train station across from the hotel has direct lines to the airport, and the tram line is outside the hotel takes you all around the city. Also we found the train/tram maps very easy to follow. We were delighted with our stay in the Ascot and would recommend it.
